I’m a part of a section of student leadership at school called Sacred Space, and one thing we do is hold artist receptions with local artists in Seattle. Last night we had a receptino with iconographer Deborah Anderson in the Mars Hill Graduate School student lounge.

Her work is phenominal. Each piece takes her anywhere from 6 months to 1+ years to complete.

The original icons are not for sale, but she has enlarged reprints which are for sale. I’d love to fill a space of my own with a few reproductions.
