what if you truly loved your neighbor as yourself?
November 4th, 2008(Film by Sam Sanchez and Blaine Hogan)
I think this short promotional film captures Mars Hill Graduate School as much as is possible, though like any story, it is limited.
This past year and a half as a student at MHGS has been both beautiful and terrifying, but there hasn’t been one day where I’ve regretted being here. I’ve hated this school at times because of how much it requires of me, but most days, as I walk through Pike Place Market, down Elliott toward the corner of Eilliott & Wall, I see our big, boxy red building and I am flooded with emotions and thankfulness that a place like this exists.
Dang.
I about freakin’ lost it watching this video. I think I may apply.
You don’t know me, but I’ve been a frequent visitor for awhile now. In Japan, and now Portland. Be well, good sir.
I’ve been strongly considering MHGS for the past year, in part because of the way you speak of it.
Perhaps one day I will find Never Never Land…
im not even finished with undergrad yet, and i watch this wishing i loved my school as much as this. Such a genuine heart. thank you for sharing.
also, could you tell me the title or artist of the song in that video? the music was moving…
This was truly a moving video. I thank you for posting it.
right on. right the flip on.
