I love shooting on planes and at airports… in fact, I do a series on my blog called “[airport name] and a 50mm lens” where I specifically shoot with a 50mm lens and capture as unique an album I can do with a 50mm lens. Helps me get creative again… just finished up ATL, MIA, DEN, and was way to tired when I went through DFW so I missed that one. Great post.
i’m upset about the alaska thing too. i’ve always had good things come to mind but now it’s that voice and all the drama surrounding this election. grr.
i’d vote for tina fey in a heartbeat.
I find this post a bit confusing. It seems to mock Sarah Palin and suggest a comedian would be a better candidate for Vice-President. Why would a Christian blog attempt to marginalize this authenitic woman? Proverbs 31 describes a woman very much like Sarah Palin and calls her wise. This wisdom allows Sarah Palin to understand that life begins at conception and that pro-choice really means pro-murder. Those who have studied her political instincts say she is a “natural.” Could this be the result of starting every day on her knees asking the Lord for guidance and direction? Perhaps God has raised this virtuous woman up for “such a time as this.”
@John: I’m sorry if my attempt at humorous writing came across as an “attempt to marginalize this authentic woman”. My comment had nothing to do with her gender or her authenticity, but was simply (in my eyes) a reference to skit that I thought was amusing.
And if you think I am truly endorsing a comedian as a vital candidate for the Vice Presidency of the United States of America, then that’s how you must have read it. I cannot control how you perceive my writing. I think you have made many more assumptions with your comment, especially in regards to pro-life/pro-murder than I did at my attempt at humor.
If life truly does begin at conception then I feel as though I was cheated out of approximately 40 weeks of “legal” alcohol consumption. ;)
