RSS Problematics

August 29th, 2008

Note from the management longbrake: My RSS feed is not behaving well. Images don’t show up. Posts don’t show up. Basically, it’s not doing the exact things it should be doing. So, sorry. I don’t know how to fix it and don’t have time to learn how to fix it. It is what it is. Maybe I should print off posts and mail them to your house via USPS.

Thank you if you keep coming back to the site. I don’t think blogs create real community (that mentallity actually sort of scares me), but I do think they can be thought provoking and inspiring. Mostly, for me, they are a wonderful outlet for creating, which I value and hope to continue to participate in.

It’s working fine for me. I’m using Mail.app for my RSS reader. Maybe it’s just something wrong with your/their RSS reader?

    Also, FIRST RESPONSE!

I use Google Reader, and I am seeing the problems described. I don’t see these problems with any other blog I’m subscribed to.

I just click on the link…but you’re right that the images don’t show up - at least not on Google Reader.

True story, images aren’t showing up, at least in Google reader. As for posts not showing up at all, some RSS readers (including the one built in to Firefox) don’t get very pumped about RSS items with empty <title> tags and just decide they don’t actually exist.

your posts show up on my RSS as long as you title them. The ones without titles don’t show up.
