Romania

July 13th, 2008

Stayed in Arad, Romania for a few days, then went to a town called Desna for a camp. This was my cabin/bed for a few nights:

This is Lauree doing some interviews in Arad:

Romania is a large country with few highways. Took us a while to get from place to place. The interviews Lauree is getting are great. She’s really good at approaching people and making them feel comfortable.

This graffiti of former dictator Nicolae Ceaucescu is pasted around the city:

In Croatia now. Tomorrow we got to Serbia. I should have some time tonight to write about our time in Rijeka.

    really impressed.

do you know if, by any chance, that cabin has a lounge car?

I saw in the above post that you asked the woman if you could take her picture. Do you always ask people if you can photograph them? Do they ever say no? Do you do it without them knowing?

Oooh, the birds shot really stands out to me…I’m loving the character of the people and places that’s brought out in your photos, as always!
