I’m sitting in McDonalds in Rijeka, Croatia.

Lauree and I drove from Budapest to Arad, Romania, then a few hours more into Romania to a town called Desna. We spent two nights at a camp there, then drove out of Romania, into Serbia via Belgrade, and then out of Serbia to Rijeka, Croatia, where I sit now. Rijeka has free internet throughout the entire downtown area. Time to catch up with the times, Seattle.

Lots of driving. Lots of Red Bull. Lots of borders and customs agents who look at us skeptically with our American passports while driving a rented Skoda Fabia with Czech license plates. We blend in like tourits should, especially with my cameras everywhere. All I need are white sneakers, calf-high white tube socks, and a fanny pack.

Fanny pack.

I’ve got a lot of photos to wade through from Romania, and I should have a few hours in the next night or two to put edit and put some up on the world wide internet.

We’re here 3 more nights, then we go back to Kovin, Serbia, then to Bratislava, Slovakia for a few days. Then Czech, Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Belarus, back to Poland, then ending in Czech. I think.

Have a happy day, internet. I’m going to continue to sit here, drink my Coca-Cola Classic, and listen to the German high school boys sitting next to me talk about girls. Or something. I don’t know German.

Auf wiedersehen!

(Hi Kenz!)

It must be hard. With all the adventures you are having, with all the stories, travels and images you have, it has to be difficult to know that you can’t compare with having Kramer in your midst.
