Budapest, hungary

We set out for Romania thinking we could make it in a day from Slovenia. We were wrong. We stopped in Budapest (one of my favorite cities in the world) for a night.

Parliament Building

Here’s me/Timmy shooting my Hasselblad. Lauree took this photo. My back is sweaty.
Here is the hostel we stayed in for a night. La Citadella Hotel is one of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed in. 25 euros a night and you’re at the top of the city.

I’m writing this in Arad, Romania. We’ll be here all day tomorrow, and then the day after that we start driving toward Rijeka, Croatia, where we have a few days off. I’ll write more from there.
Dude those are some amazing photos.
My favorite is the graffiti stairs.
Those beds look comfy.
Stay safe.
Amazing photos! I love the graffiti stairs and Parliament building. Really cool.
I am aching with jealousy. Budapest is great and your pictures from there capture its flavor and bring back good memories. Also, I lived in Rijeka for 2 years and miss it like crazy. I think you might spend a little time with Stevo and Sarah Vuletic, if your trip is at all JV related. They are wonderful people.
Again, so jealous.
I hate to be repetative, but the graffiti stairs are pretty much amazing.
Amazing shots man…
love the stairwell
stella at one of your shoes…just half of it. i like the pics. i hope you are having a wonderful time.
by ‘at’ i mean ‘ate,’ but she was at it too, just before she ate it.
These are some amazing shots. They tell wonderful stories.
i SO remember that hotel. and the hideous walk up the hill to get there. and the hall bath. good times. great shots wish i was there with you guys!
i’m enjoying the photos from your trip quite a bit.
Hey man! Glad you found the place to stay in Budapest. We were on that same street a few weeks ago that faced the church…when we were there a few years ago, they were still working on it…did you go in? I think that may be one of the most beautiful churches I have seen. Hope to see you in SK.
I love Budapest. haven’t been in quite a few years though.

I didn’t agree with you first, but last paragraph makes sense for me…
