on the road
July 5th, 2008Got to Ljubljana, Slovenia last night, met Lauree, and then hit the road this morning.
Here’s our Skoda Fabia,

our lame “Rent Me” sticker from the rental place,

and Laurde peeling the sticker off, because who wants to drive around with a sticker like that? It’s almost as bad as having Student Driver plastered on a sign on the top of your car.

And here is how one gets by day to day while traveling across Eastern Europe:

Nutella ’til I die. Of Nutella.
How expensive is the gas over there?
Mmmm, Nutella.
I love Nutella, how would you compare the Nutella over there to the Nutella available in states?
I had Nutella in Australia once and it beats what we have here in the consistency and type of sweetness.
anything + bread + boy = happy
@Dana: Same as the States.
@Reese: Tastes the same as the States.
@Kenz: I”m still the same boy from the States.
bread and nutella are my daily essentials. :)
Oh, how I love Nutella. In fact, I borrowed a friend’s suitcase when I traveled to Italy…she was packing for Mexico this weekend and found two small individual packages of Nutella in a pocket. Happiness.
talk of Nutella just made my day. thank you.
Oh yes, Nutella. Bailed us out on our backpacking trip many a time. It’s spreadable joy.
