This is one of the best things I’ve ever seen on the internet.
You can read about Matt and this video here. There are so many things I love about this, but most of all I love the fullness of humanity, the joy, and the sheer abandonment that it captures. I want to meet Matt one day, as he lives in Seattle. You can see Gas Works Park in the end of the video.
this made me cry. everything in me wanted to dance while watching that, and you know i hate dancing. this is fabulous. i want to have dinner with matt, wherever the hell he is.
Unbelievably cool. I kept asking myself, “how heck does he get to these places?”
this is amazing. wow.
and i love the fact that they were dancing in the rain towards the end.
How can you watch that video and not crack a smile? Just awesome.
Amazing. I agree with Jimmy, I think it’s impossible to watch this video and not crack a smile.
i love love this!
and the music!!
beautiful.
this made me want to pack my bags so badly…. wow. i teared up a little myself :) and i also hate dancing!
If I was previously on the fence about our “potential best friend” status, my doubts have been silenced. From Matt’s FAQ:
What’s your least favorite [place]?
The Totem Lake Shopping Center in Kirkland, Washington. It’s the most depressing place I’ve ever been. I almost didn’t make it out. I think it might be some kind of gateway to the netherworld.
That really made my day. Truly. My reaction seems to be similar to others…tears in my eyes. A big smile. A few laughs. I think I’ll pass this one on.
Thanks, Josh.
Awesome and beautiful.
I had actually seen one of his videos before, but completely forgot about it. Thanks for reminding me, must make blog post now.
I vow to say that not even The Longbrake himself travels that much.
ooooh those dance moves!
Very cool!! That just brings such a big smile to my face. Great to see as it finishes, it is no longer about him dancing.
I’ve watched this video like 10 times since you posted it, and shared it with my facebook friends. Thanks for posting it - I LOVE it.
