I like this one a lot. It’s as if you are supposed to sit in the chair. but the chair remains empty. Who do you and the chair wait for? Where is the audience? Or is it only an audience of one? Many questions from a photograph that only gives the appearance of being simple.
I’ll repeat, I like this one a lot, but the meaning eludes me at the moment. But then again I don’t know you in person and if I did it would make deriving the meaning of the chairs much easier probably. Who can truly understand the ways of the artist except the artist himself? Which applies to both us and God.
for me…it’s almost as if you are staring at your fears.
your hands, held together as they are, make me feel as though you are anxious. but instead of just sitting and staring…any moment you will jump up, run down the isle (not without first hopping over a few rows of chairs, because you just have to do that in those seats), land in the chair and vroom across the stage of life.
Hey longbrake, are you still in town? (Fort Wayne that is) If so you want to go get some coffee, tea in my case, or some Willie’s? I suggest this not to creep but initiate. I think if I’m commenting on your blog I should at least meet you. I was going to do it yesterday at Grace but I slept to some ungodly hour in the afternoon and therefore ruined the day because when you sleep in that late nothing will ever, ever get done.
I struggled to explain what emotions those pictures can convey, or how it relates to me and how small I feel sometimes, and was going to try to let you know.
But when it comes down to it, I just really like them. Applause.
I stumbled across your site while looking for images of Shreveport, LA. I stayed quite a while. You seem to be a nice guy and an interesting person. I especially enjoyed reading your New Year’s lists from 08 and last year with notations. You sound like you are doing a good job of living in this world. I also like your photos, especially this red one. Thanks,
you blend in so effortlessly, yet you’re still able to stand out from the crowd. that’s the way it should be, no?
this feels so 2007.
in a good way.

I like this pictures … compliment :)
So lovely. So lonely.
Question:
“Who should be performing there?”
Only thing I can come up with:
I’m me, the only way I can be… deal with it. ha.
Have a great week!
You look great in red….ravishing in fact.
