Junky Car Club Calendar
November 10th, 2007Mike Foster over at Ethur, which heads up a few smaller groups, put together a calendar for the Junky Car Club. Junky Car Club members are learning to live with less so they can give more. They’re a bunch of happy drivers who are politely rebelling against consumerism by driving junky cars (excerpt from junkycarclub.com). The calendar is $12 and features 12 members and their cars. 100% proceeds from the sales go to the Corps Of Compassion.
The Corps of Compassion currently delivers food to over 700 homeless and at risk children in 14 schools every single weekend through their backpack program in Las Vegas. Currently, there are over 4000 homeless and at risk children living in the Las Vegas area.
You can go here to view the entire calendar layout and here if you so wish to purchase it.
I personally like Jeremy Cowart’s photograph and Drew and Nancy’s spread.
Fezzik, my beloved Honda, and I made guest appearances in the month of May. He sends his warmest regards.

beautiful project
Is that you in the photo minus the beard then?
@Jeff: You caught me.
junky car club = coolest club EVER
love that revo also made the calendar.
Josh and Fezzik the calendar boys. I’m thinking that’s pretty much the most awesome thing in the universe. Well, maybe not the universe. But pretty close.
Ok - so the idea of a calander of junky cars sounded ridiuculous/tacky, but the layout on those things is a-mazing. Love it.
welcome back.
i love that you’re included in this mike foster creation. i also love the pope’s pic in the calendar.

i have this EXACT car. not even kidding.
cool calendar, great cause, most of the cars are pretty nice, though.
i guess i expected beat up old subaru wagons, cars with faded paint, dents and dings rather than stuff like pt cruisers and mitsubishi montero sports.
i noticed the same thing too… some of those cars i thought were pretty nice… hmm in that case, we must be totally qualified to be in this “junky car club,” will!
great calender. make great Christmas presents aiding a great cause.
Why was he upset. His stuff is awesome.
As are your pictures, sir. You need to hold a class. I need some creativity to rub off on me.
umm so i love that you were wearing your revo shirt in this picture! heck yeah!
Your car’s name is Fezzik? That’s the coolest. I had a 1965 Falcon who was named Hank, but I had to sell him, because he only got 11.5 mpg. Bleh.
And that calendar is rad.
